We’re thrilled to announce that HUM has officially launched in the Greater Boise Area! Starting with our signature Private Rides as phase one, we’re bringing a fresh approach to rideshare that empowers drivers and creates a personal, connected experience for riders. Boise marks our first expansion outside of Arizona, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring HUM’s driver-first model to this vibrant community.
When we looked at where to bring HUM next, Boise stood out as a place where our Private Rides model could make a real impact. Like in Phoenix, we see incredible potential for drivers to earn more by building their own clientele and establishing direct relationships with riders. Boise’s community value of “one city, one team - for the greatest good.” aligns perfectly with HUM’s mission to create a rideshare model that’s fair, sustainable, and locally focused.
In our first year in Phoenix, we saw tremendous growth–drivers increased from 80 to 400, and riders grew from 3,300 to over 15,000. Key drivers achieved earnings leaps from $800 to over $5,000 per month, with some even earning more than $80 per ride (though our average fare payout remains around $24). With this track record, we’re excited to see similar success stories unfold in here.
In Boise, we’re launching with Private Rides as our foundation. This phase gives drivers full access to HUM’s unique Private Rides feature, with commercial insurance coverage included. Here’s what that means for Boise drivers:
For Boise riders, HUM’s Private Rides offer a one-of-a-kind rideshare experience that’s safe, affordable, and reliable:
As HUM grows in Boise, our vision is to support a thriving driver community, offering greater income potential and flexibility. In Phoenix, drivers using HUM’s Private Rides have earned more than $5,000/mo by building loyal rider bases. While we don’t make income guarantees, these success stories highlight the power of HUM’s model and its potential to transform the rideshare experience for Boise drivers and riders alike.
We’re also looking forward to introducing local partnerships, like we have in Arizona with the Arizona Food Bank Network, and our national relationship with Firestone, which offers HUM drivers and riders exclusive benefits and support. These partnerships are just the beginning; as we grow, Boise can expect more opportunities and connections with local businesses to make the HUM experience even more valuable.
Whether you’re a driver ready to take control of your rideshare business or a rider seeking a trusted, predictable alternative, HUM is here to offer a better way forward. Download the HUM Driver or Rider app today and discover the difference that Private Rides can make.
Join us in bringing this new chapter of rideshare and transportation to Boise!
Sincerely,
Chris Kolb
